Abstract: In order to effectively control Phthorimaea absoluta, the biological habit, occurrence law, damage characteristics and distribution range of Phthorimaea absoluta in Ningxia had been clarified through monitoring and early warning technologies carried out in recent years. The key points of various technological applications had been clarified by agricultural control measures of pollution-free seedling, cleaning fields and crop rotation, as well as physical and chemical control technologies of color plate trapping, sex pheromone trapping, mating disruption and light trapping, as well as a series of experimental demonstrations of biological and chemical pesticides control. Finally, a green prevention and control technological mode of 'monitoring and early warning + agricultural control + physical and chemical induction control + biological control + scientific and safe applicating pesticides to control' was integrated. Through the integrated green prevention and control technology mode, a promotion mode of 'demonstration zone + agricultural technology promotion department + planting base + ordinary farmers' had been established for large-scale application, guiding planters to carry out timely prevention and control, effectively controlling the harm of Phthorimaea absoluta, reducing the loss rate from 30% to below 10%. Currently, a total of 7 500 hm2 has been demonstrated and promoted in Ningxia and its surrounding areas, increating production value of 945 yuan per 667 m2 with significant economic benefits. The application of pesticides were reduced three times, which ensured the quality of tomatoes and achieved green production. |
