Abstract: In order to screen out lettuce varieties which met the consumption demand of citizens in taste, texture and appearance, 11 lettuce varieties (5 head lettuce and 6 loose leaf lettuce) were introduced, and their agronomic traits, quality and yield were compared. The results showed that the comprehensive performance of 'Green Jadeite' was the best, whose soluble solid content was 3.78%, texture was crisp, taste was sweet, weight of a single lettuce was 227 g, the yield was 1 193.5 kg per 667 m2, and it was suitable for popularization and planting. 'Red Rosa' had a unique purple appearance with the soluble solid content of 3.65%, crisp texture and sweet taste, and could be planted with another variety Loose leaf lettuce 'Jingyan Rome' had a high yield with 1 215.5 kg per 667 m2, which was suitable for large-scale planting. |
