Abstract: In order to find out the most suitable water-soluble fertilizer for melon planting, five types of water-soluble fertilizers, namely compound microbial water-soluble fertilizer, large-element water-soluble fertilizer, medium and trace element water-soluble fertilizer, humic acid water-soluble fertilizer and amino acid water-soluble fertilizer, were used as test fertilizers, and melon cultivar 'Boyang No.9' was used as test crop. The effects of different water-soluble fertilizers on yield and quality of melon, and physical and chemical properties of soil were compared and analyzed, the results showed that the yield of melon applying compound microbial water-soluble fertilizer was the highest, which was 115.23 t/hm2, and the sugar content, chlorophyll content (SPAD value), organic matter content and alkali-hydrolyzable nitrogen content of soil were also higher,
which were 14.47%, 59.99 and 10.03 g/kg, 128.21 mg/kg, respectively. Therefore, compound microbial watersoluble fertilizer was more beneficial to growth of melon and soil improvement. |
