Abstract: In order to study the effect of different biodegradable films in watermelon production and promote the green production of watermelon, a comparative test of biodegradable fi lms of different materials and thicknesses was carried out by small watermelon in spring greenhouse as the research object, with total of 4 kinds of biodegradable fi lms as materials and ordinary PE fi lm as the control, the covering effect, degradation rate and cost benefi t of these fi lms were investigated and analyzed. The results showed that the 'Jinfa' biodegradable fi lm had the best performance in terms of temperature improvement and heat preservation. In terms of the infl uence on
the growth period of watermelon, there was no signifi cant difference between the four biodegradable fi lms, and all of them could meet the needs of watermelon production. In terms of the yield and quality of watermelon, the 'Jinfa' biodegradable fi lm showed the best performance, the yield was 2 964 kg per 667 m2, increased by 5.56% compared
with the control, and the central soluble solid content was 11.83%, increased by 1.10 percentage points compared with the control. In terms of degradation rate, 'Huasheng' 'Hongrui' and 'Jinfa' biodegradable fi lms all degraded faster than the control. It was concluded that 'Jinfa' and 'Huasheng' biodegradable fi lms had good comprehensive effects and were suitable for the watermelon production in spring greenhouses in Beijing. |
