Abstract: In order to clarify the effects of amino-oligosaccharides on seed germination and induced resistance and growth at cucumber seedling, paper method and hole plate method were used, and four concentrations of 5% amino-oligosaccharide were set, including 5% amino-oligosaccharide 500 times solution, 800 times solution, 1 000 times solution and 1 200 times solution. The germination rate, germination potential, germination index of cucumber seeds and plant height, stem diameter, root weight and root length of cucumber seedling were measured. The results showed that 5% amino-oligosaccharide 800 times solution had better promoting effect on germination of cucumber seed with the highest germination rate and germination potential of 98.19% and 31.71%, respectively, and a germination index of 21.04, ranking second. The cucumber seedlings treated by 5% amino-oligosaccharide 1 000 times solution had the highest stem diameter, fresh aboveground weight, root weight, plant height and root length with values of 3.12 mm, 1.35 g, 0.39 g, 18.85 cm and 9.33 cm, respectively. The root weight was parallel to that treated by 5% amino-oligosaccharide 800 times solution. |
