Abstract: In order to clarify the effect of plant immune inducers on seed germination behavior, the paper method was used, and the germination rate, germination potential and germination index of tomato, cucumber, pepper and eggplant seeds with different concentrations of 0.5% chitosan and 1% lentinan were measured. The results showed that two plant immune inducers had good promoting effects on the germination of tomato, cucumber, pepper and eggplant seeds. Among them, 1% lentinan had a better effect on the germination of tomato, cucumber and eggplant seeds than 0.5% chitosan. The tomato and eggplant treated with 1% lentinan 800 times solution had the highest germination rate, germination potential and germination index of 92.64%, 75.06%, 9.47 and 87.64%, 72.24%, 9.56, respectively, whichincreased by 10.14 percentage points, 11.78 percentage points, 2.96 and 24.66 percentage points, 20.06 percentage points, 3.87, respectively, compared with the control group. The germination rate and germination index of cucumber treated with 1% lentinan 600 times solution were the highest with 95.15% and 11.85, respectively. The cucumber treated with 1% lentinan 800 times solution had the highest germination potential of 70.23%. The pepper treated with 0.5% chitosan 600 times solution had the highest germination rate and germination potential of 99.12% and 67.26, respectively. The pepper treated with 1% lentinan 400 times solution had the highest germination index of 9.45. When raising seedlings in the field, selecting appropriate concentrations of plant immune inducers based on different crops and applying them with watering could promote germination of seed. |
