Abstract: In order to improve the fruit quality of strawberry at the later stage of production, different concentrations of sodium silicate (0.5, 1.0, 1.5 mmol/L) were sprayed on the leaf surface to study the changes of plant growth, fruit hardness, quality and yield at the later stage of strawberry growth. The results showed that 1.0 mmol/L sodium silicate treatment had the best effect, and the growth indexes, quality indexes and yield indexes were better, and the plant spindling was inhibited. Compared with CK, the plant height of strawberry significantly reduced by 11.1%, and the stem diameter significantly increased by 15%. After 10 days of spraying, the chlorophyll growth of new leaves increased by 80%, and the change range of fruit hardness increased by 6%. The hardness of 8 ripened, 9 ripened and 10 ripened fruits significantly increased by 65.9%, 81.5% and 86.8%, respectively, and the sugar content increased by 8.8%, 1.9% and 10.8%, respectively. The average fruit weight, row yield and measured row yield increased by 2.8%, 12.9% and 8.0% compared with CK, respectively, and the malformed fruit rate decreased 3.6 percentage points. It was recommended to use at the later fruiting stages of strawberry. |
