Abstract: In order to screen out suitable cultivars of dried peppers for cultivation in dry land, a new cultivar comparative experiment of dried peppers was conducted with 'Hangjiao No.4' as the control, based on the advantages of light and heat in the semi-arid mountainous areas of the plateau summer vegetable of Tianshui area, and its growth period, cultivar characteristics, yield and disease resistance were compared. The results showed that 'Tianxian 1715' ' Tianjiao No.23' and 'Hangjiao No.4' (CK) ranked top three in yield, and were evaluated as suitable cultivars based on their comprehensive disease resistance and fruit characteristics. 'Yingchaohong No.2' ranked fourth in yield and was early-maturing cultivar. Combined with the characteristics
of slightly spicy cultivars and low node (good lodging resistance), 'Yingchaohong No.2' had been evaluated as a suitable cultivar. 'Fengshou Xianjiao' and 'Changhong H1' were highly resistant to the disease and earlymaturing cultivars, and had been evaluated as more suitable potential cultivars. |
