Abstract: In order to explore the effect of 0.02% iron chlorin soluble powder (a plant growth regulator) on growth and yield of Capsicum frutescens, four treatments of 0.02% iron chlorin soluble powder 3 000, 4 000, 5 000 and 6 000 times solution were set up, and water treatment was used as the control. The main growth nodes of Capsicum frutescens were sprayed four times, and the indexes of the growth and yield of Capsicum frutescens were investigated. The results showed that compared with the control, the growth and yield of Capsicum frutescens were affected by different concentrations, among them, T1 (0.02% iron chlorin soluble powder 3 000 times solution), T3 (0.02% iron chlorin soluble powder 5 000 times solution) treatments had a greater impact on the plant height, stem diameter, branch number of Capsicum frutescens, followed by T2 treatment (0.02% iron chlorin soluble powder 4 000 times solution), the three treatments were significantly different from the control, respectively. The effects of T2 and T3 treatment on leaf area, leaf perimeter, leaf length, leaf width, SPAD value of Capsicum frutescens were greater than those of T4 treatment (except for leaf perimeter) and control. T2 treatment had the greatest impact on the fresh weight of single fruit of Capsicum frutescens, which was not significantly different from T1 and T3, but significantly higher than T4 treatment and control. The T3 treatment had the best effect of increasing yield with fresh pepper increasing by 19.74% and dry pepper increasing by 47.01% compared to the control. Moreover, the T3 treatment had no significant difference compared to T1 and T2 treatments, but
was significantly higher than T4 treatment and the control. It was recommended to use 0.02% iron chlorin soluble powder 5 000 times solution in production. |
