Abstract: Based on the monitoring data of vegetable prices, market volume, source distribution and supply ratio in Beijing wholesale market from 2017 to 2021, the characteristics and trends of vegetable market in Beijing wholesale market since the outbreak of COVID-19 in 2020 were analyzed by data comparison method. From the analysis results, both the absolute level and the average increase in vegetable prices are significantly higher than that of before the epidemic. The price of vegetables in Beijing has entered the era of "3 yuan" from the "2 yuan" era, and the proportion of Beijing's vegetable supply via wholesale markets has dropped from 80% of epidemic previous to about 60%. The impact of the epidemic on the market volume of vegetables in the Beijing wholesale market is greater than the impact on prices. After the epidemic in the wholesale market, prices have basically returned to normal operation, and the recovery of vegetable market volume has lagged significantly. The main vegetable supply areas in Beijing are both centralized and scattered. The concentration is mainly reflected in the fact that the main supply areas are mainly Hebei and Shandong, accounting for more than 60% of the total. The scattered vegetables from 24 other provinces and cities across the country enter the Beijing market. Since the outbreak of the epidemic, the main vegetable supply areas have been relatively stable, the proportion of supply in Hebei has increased slightly, and the proportion of supply in Shandong has decreased slightly. |
