| Abstract: In order to promote the rapid development of Chinese kale industry, the current situation of Chinese kale breeding was summarized, which were namely that the breeding methods were moving from traditional to modern, conventional and hybrid cultivars still coexisted in the market, and new cultivars were constantly emerging, such as broccoli bolt and kale bolt. In the future, all units need to strengthen cooperation and jointly tackle difficulties. More hybrid cultivars and new cultivars with high quality, high yield, multi resistance, wide adaptability and adaptation to modern mechanized production would be cultivated through hybrid breeding and modern biotechnology. |
