| Abstract: In order to effectively control the occurrence and harm of sclerotinia rot on watermelon, the harmful symptoms from seedling stage to adult stage in the field were described. It was found that the pathogen causing sclerotinia rot on watermelon was Sclerotina sclerotiorum, which was a soil borne disease. The severity of the disease was closely related to climatic conditions and field cultivation management measures. Finally, the methods of prevention and control were described from the angles of agricultural control and chemical control. |
