Abstract: In order to screen out the most suitable treatment method and concentration of chitosan
oligosaccharide for cucumber seedling cultivation, taking cucumber cultivar 'Jinchun No.4' as material, the test
was carried out by using combination treatments of different concentrations of chitosan oligosaccharide soaking
(200, 400 times) and foliar spraying (500, 800 times) to regulate the growth of seedling. The results showed
that seed soaking with hard water and three times of spraying 800 times chitosan oligosaccharide solution at seedling
stage had the best effect on strong seedlings. Compared with the control, the maximum leaf area and chlorophyll
content all increased, the ratios of root to shoot, root volume, root activity, seedling index, G value and the contents
of proline increased by 21.4%, 39.6%, 50.7%, 31.6%, 20.0% and 67.7%, respectively. Content of malondialdehyde
decreased by 45.4%. Therefore, it was recommended to seeds soaking with hard water and spraying 800 times chitosan
oligosaccharide solution at seedling stage to cultivate strong seedlings, and spraying once at cotyledon flat expansion
period, one leaf and one heart period and two leaves and one heart period, respectively. |
