Abstract: In order to screen out suitable substrates for cucumber of cultivation trough in spring greenhouse, 'Beinong Jiaxiu' cucumber cultivar was selected as experimental material, and five substrates including mushroom stick, dung of cow and sheep, peat, perlite and vermiculite were used to study the effects of different substrate ratios on cucumber growth, yield and water production efficiency. The results showed that when the substrate volume ratio of mushroom stick︰dung of cow and sheep︰peat︰perlite︰vermiculite was 2︰1︰3︰1︰1, cucumber plant grew stronger, and the yield, output per cubic meter of water, and profit were the highest, which were 12 947 kg per 667 m2, 61.9 kg per water of 1 m3 and 9 565 yuan per 667 m2, respectively. At the same time, the fruit quality was good. Under the experimental conditions, the substrate volume ratio of mushroom stick︰dung of cow and sheep︰peat︰perlite︰vermiculite=2︰1︰3︰1︰1 was an appropriate matrix ratio for water-saving cultivation trough substrate of cucumber. |
