| Abstract: 'Xiongxin No.1' was a new, no need for vernalization and high-yielding flowering Chinese cabbage, which was developed by using the cytoplasmic male sterile line BC-31-10-5-2-1-1 as female parent and early-maturing Chinese cabbage 2-1-1-1-1-1-1-2-1 as male parent. The cultivar had strong growth vigor, medium early maturity, about 55 days from sowing to first harvest, and could be continuously harvested about 48 days. It had good commodity quality, and the yield was over 1 500 kg per 667 m2. The most suitable growth temperature was 15-25 ℃, it was suitable for timely cultivation in Ningxia, Gansu, Henan,Yunnan,Yangtze River Valley and south China. |
