In order to increase the yield of Tianjia purple garlic, a geographical indication product in Neijiang, and improve the soil structure, a variety of experiments of cultivation methods were carried out, including different planting methods, chemical fertilizer reduction and organic fertilizer increasing, and garlic grading disinfection treatment, to study the effects of different cultivation methods on yield of garlic. The results showed that the methods of shallow and wide furrow sowing and drill sowing were helpful to increase the yield of garlic, among which the effect of shallow and wide furrow sowing with covering straw was the best with an increase yield of 35.4% per 667 m2. By reducing the application of chemical fertilizer and increasing the application of organic fertilizer, the yield of garlic could be guaranteed consistent with CK under the traditional hill-drop sowing method, while the yield of garlic could be significantly increased by 19.7% by using shallow and wide furrow sowing. Garlic disinfection and grading treatment, combined with fertilizer reduction and organic fertilizer increasing application, could significantly increase yield of garlic by more than 22.5%. The effect of shallow and wide furrow sowing was the most significant, which reached 26.8%. |
