| Abstract: Based on the vegetable planting area and yield of Hebei province from 2013 to 2018 and the corresponding datas of surrounding areas (Beijing, Tianjin, Liaoning, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia and Henan), the changes of vegetable production areas in Hebei and its surrounding areas were analyzed by using location quotient and comparative advantage research methods. The results showed that from the perspective of location quotient index, the vegetable industry in Hebei had a higher level of specialization, and had certain industrial advantages compared with the surrounding areas, which could be used as an advantageous industry. From the comparative advantage analysis index, compared with the vegetable production areas of the surrounding areas, Hebei was not strong in production scale, but it had strong production effi ciency advantages and strong comprehensive advantages, and had space for outward production development. It was suggested to further expand the vegetable planting area, improve the level of policy subsidies and strengthen the training of talents. |
