Abstract: In order to screen out plastic mulch which was easy to degrade or recycle and had little environmental pollution, and was suitable for the application in tomato production, the differences between PBAT biodegradable mulching film and 0.012 mm thickened plastic mulch were researched, taking the 0.010 mm ordinary plastic mulch as contrast, the degradation cycles of the three kinds of mulch were contrasted, as well as the effects on tomato growth and yield. The results showed that there was no significant differences in plant height, stem diameter and leaf number among the three kinds of plastic mulch. In terms of the impact on crop yield, tomatoes covered with 0.012 mm plastic mulch had the highest yield, followed by PBAT biodegradable mulching film, and tomatoes covered with 0.010 mm plastic mulch had the lowest yield. In terms of the degradation performance of plastic mulch, the biodegradation performance of the PBAT biodegradable mulching film was strong, the toughness of 0.012 mm thickened plastic mulch was strong and not easy to break, which was conducive to the later recovery and utilization, and the toughness of 0.010 mm plastic mulch was poor, which was not conducive to recycling. It was suggested that PBAT biodegradable mulching film or thickened plastic mulch should be selected according to the actual climate, soil, crop and other conditions. |
