Abstract: In order to study the effect of different amount of calcium fertilizer on the yield and quality of Chinese cabbage, four treatments were set up, which were applied different amount of calcium nitrate, control (0 g/m2), low-level (22 g/m2), middle-level (44 g/m2) and high-level (66 g/m2) treatment. The results showed that compared with the control, the stem diameter of low-level, middle-level and high-level treatment increased by 13.2%, 14.1% and 14.6%, respectively, which were significantly higher than that of the control. The yield per 667 m2 of middle-level and high-level were significantly higher than the control, and increased by 14.1% and 21.2%. And the effect of low-level, middle-level and high-level treatment on calcium content of plants increased by 3.3%-9.0%, but there was no significant difference compared with the control. Therefore, the high-level treatment could significantly improve the yield of Chinese cabbage, but it had no significant effect on the calcium content. |
