| Abstract: In order to breed more cultivars of Chinese kale with good characters and meet the market demand, 22 new cross combinations of Chinese kale from inbred lines were used as materials in the present study. The main economic characters such as plant weight, bolting stem weight, plant height, plant width, bolting stem height and bolting stem diameter were compared and analyzed. The hybrid combinations of thin bolt type 16*40, thick bolt type 48*49, 35*53 and red bolt type 31*34 were selected preliminarily as a result of good comprehensive characters, which enriched the diversity of Chinese kale and provided a foundation for further breeding of new hybrid cultivars of Chinese kale. |
