Abstract: Protected cucumber production requires strict soil moisture and nutrient conditions. At present, traditional irrigation and fertilization methods can not meet the reasonable demand for water and fertilizer in protected cucumber production. In order to solve the above problems, the study on integration of water and fertilizer was carried out by irrigation and fertilization methods, water and fertilizer consumption in different growth stages, types of fertilizers, nutrient composition and other aspects of water and fertilizer. According to the research results, this irrigation and fertilization technology saved 37.7% of fertilizer and 65.6% of water resources compared with conventional fertilization. The effects of saving water and fertilizer were obvious. It was suggested to study and popularize this technology. |
