| Abstract: In order to understand the current development situation and future trend of China's edible fungi industry, starting from the history of edible fungi cultivation, the edible fungi industry with expanded production scale, increased yield as well as diversified cultivated varieties and obvious regional industrial clusters was elaborated. At the same time, the problems of unbalanced development, scarcity of independent property rights, and the need to improve production technology and quality and safety management were pointed out. Furthermore, some countermeasures and suggestions were put forward, such as spreading edible fungi culture, promoting the integration of culture and industry, improving the quality and increasing the market of edible fungi industry, protecting edible fungi germplasm resources to promote diversification. The theoretical reference for the future vigorous development of edible fungi industry would be provided. |
