| Abstract: In order to give full play to the advantages of Maoming city with sufficient illumination, abundant rainfall, the location advantage for planting black wax gourd, and meet the strong demand for black wax gourd in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, the main cultivation technology points of pollution and standardization for black wax gourd, were summarized by Maoming institute of agricultural sciences through the introduction and promotion for many years which contained cultivation of strong seedlings, management of the seedling stage, density of planting, fertilizer and water control, pruning and leading rock in the vines, setting fruit and pinching, prevention and control of diseases and pests, harvest and storage and so on. The technology provided a more comprehensive technical support for maintaining the good quality of the cultivar and the high yield characteristics of more than 6 000 kg per 667 m2. |
