| Abstract: Liehuo S45 was developed by crossing two inbred lines, taking cytoplasmic male sterile linePE02-3 as female parent and restorer PE-7 as the male parent. The fruits of Liehuo S45 were long sheephornshaped. The length of fruits was 11～13 cm and cross diameter was 1.92 cm. The fruit color was green,then turned to dark red. Liehuo S45 was a kind of moderate early-ripe, high pungency degree variety withstong continaous fruit setting ability, better disease resistance and high yield. Liehuo S45 was suitable forcultivation in open field in Hebei, Shandong, Xinjiang, Shanxi provinces, Inner Monggol ia and other regions. |
